The Botticellis on Daytrotter
Antenna Farm is pleased to share some new Botticellis recordings put together by our friends over at Daytrotter, recorded in SF a couple months ago as part of the Noisepop Fest. For those of you not in the know, Daytrotter has quickly established itself as one of the key go-to places for new music on the internets, featuring live recordings from some of your favorite bands, candidly captured as they passed through their Rock Island studios on tour. Some of our favorite artists are enshrined there in unique live-in-the-studio performances (including AF artists the Donkeys and Papercuts), and we are proud to have the Botticellis join the roster.

Back in Athens, organizers are feverishly preparing for the Franciversary, the 10th anniversary of Je Suis France! The Botticellis continue to garner great early reviews for their debut album, Old Home Movies out on Antenna Farm May 13. Future Sounds raves "A CD I just can't stop playing....just gorgeous. Hailing from the Outer Richmond in San Francisco, The Botticellis play witty and ornate power pop with spot-on harmonies that effortlessly transcends many eras of pop music; with the warm tones of Big Star and George Harrison records as a starting point, the Botticellis make pure California music that owes as much to Raymond Chandler as it does the Beach Boys.
