Hey kids, summer is around the corner, and how better to celebrate than with Bart Davenport! Specifically, Bart's solo debut album, never before available digitally...until now! That's right, starting Tuesday, May 6th, Bart's breakthrough self-titled debut album will be available at the digital retailer of your choice. Originally released on the sadly defunct Paris Caramel imprint in the hazy pre-iTunes days of 2002, the album features a who's who of Bay Area guest musicians and a glimpse back at a happier, more care-free time (really!). So this Tuesday, get yourself some digital music, load it in your digital player, and get out into the analog sunshine with some wondeful tunes that will help you forget the price of gas, endless wars, and everything else that's a bummer about 2008. The Botticellis on Daytrotter
Antenna Farm is pleased to share some new Botticellis recordings put together by our friends over at Daytrotter, recorded in SF a couple months ago as part of the Noisepop Fest. For those of you not in the know, Daytrotter has quickly established itself as one of the key go-to places for new music on the internets, featuring live recordings from some of your favorite bands, candidly captured as they passed through their Rock Island studios on tour. Some of our favorite artists are enshrined there in unique live-in-the-studio performances (including AF artists the Donkeys and Papercuts), and we are proud to have the Botticellis join the roster.

Back in Athens, organizers are feverishly preparing for the Franciversary, the 10th anniversary of Je Suis France! This promises to be the blowout of all blowouts, as a legendary party band takes things to a whole 'nother level to celebrate 10 years of blowing minds. With shows at the Frilight on Friday the 25th and a full band jam (all 9 members) at the 40 Watt on Saturday the 25th...as well as the release of the long-awaited JSF "Death Wish" EP, Athens may never be the same. Yeah, we know you're too cool to own a TV, but get yourself over to some less enlightened friend's house next Wedneday night, April 30th to catch The Real World on MTV. Yeah, that's right, the show that introduced Puck to the world, now in it's 271st season, will be featuring "Do It Well" by Sugar & Gold as part of this week's episode. In fact, we're told that they fit the lyric of the song in with the dialogue.....hmmm, art?

Australia & SXSW recap!
Hey all, it took us a bit to recover from the madness of SXSW and from the Still Flyin' Auzzie Brew Groove tour and there's so much to say, so many stories to tell (Sean eating a Kangaroo burger! Bart Davenport's marathon guitar pull at the Tommy Guerrero afterparty!) that we've just decided to clam up and let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy!
