In the 3.5 years since Antenna Farm released Dana Falconberry’s breakthough LP, Leelanau, Dana has traveled the world, played a thousand stages, and cemented the working relationship with her tight knit backing band, now awesome enough to merit a name of their own, Medicine Bow.
Following a fruitful collaboration with producer Jim Eno in 2014 that resulted in the Palmless EP, the band set to work on recording a proper LP. Dana has teamed up with stellar Austin label Modern Outsider for the release and we now have a release date: April 1.
But that’s not all, Dana and crew are headed out on a summer tour of National Parks and Monuments to celebrate the centennial of our national park system. From Dana’s site:
“We are also working on a series of really magical shows for this summer in National Parks across the country. This year is the centennial anniversary of our National Parks and we plan on celebrating with many shows in parks including Glacier, White Sands, Isle Royale, Yosemite, Crater Lake, Saguaro, and many many more.”
You can support this tour as well as get your hands on a pre-order for the LP plus a ton of other pledge-able goodies like hand-cranked chainstitched patches, custom block prints, t-shirts, and more by visiting Dana’s Pledgemusic page, HERE.
In the meantime, check out the first single from the LP, Dolomite!
