San Francisco’s Still Flyin’ are on the road again, doing a set of rare domestic US dates. Summer may be on it’s way out, but the party has just begun.
With new material that the band describes as “Lots of rototoms. Epic snare drums. Huge chorus (the effect and the part of the song)” and numerous personnel shifts (including former Still Flyin’ “dancer/hype man” Phil Horan, stepping back behind the drum kit for the first time since his days as the original drummer in Maserati!), this promises to be a new lean and focused version of the group. That said, you can definitely expect a few cuts from 2009′s Never Gonna Touch The Ground LP and maybe even a cut from 2006′s Time Wrinkle EP.
